Modern Wedding at The Caboose in Hudson, New York

Modern The Caboose wedding in Hudson New York with clean design and natural light

The Caboose wedding for Rebecca and Jeremy was light, warm, and deeply personal from start to finish. From the moment they arrived in Hudson, their focus stayed on being present with each other and with their family, especially their son, Remy, who played a meaningful role throughout the day.

Rebecca and Jeremy are easygoing, thoughtful, and full of life. That energy carried through every part of their celebration.

The Wedding Day

The day unfolded with ease. Late September weather gave us sunshine and comfortable temperatures, which set the tone right away. Guests gathered outdoors for cocktails, enjoying the energy of downtown Hudson before moving inside for dinner and dancing.

The flow of the day felt natural. Nothing felt rushed. Everyone had space to connect, laugh, and settle into the celebration.

The Caboose Ceremony in the Courtyard

Rebecca and Jeremy exchanged vows surrounded by family and friends in a space that felt modern, intimate, and grounded. Their son Remy stood at the heart of the day, included in moments both big and small.

The ceremony felt relaxed and emotional without being heavy. It reflected who they are as a family and what mattered most to them.

Design Details

Their vision was clear from the beginning. They wanted modern Brooklyn energy with warmth and simplicity.

One of my favorite details was the custom Polaroid frame built by a close friend. Guests took photos throughout the night, added them to the display, and took the memories home.

The Reception

Dinner flowed easily into speeches, music, and dancing. The space supported movement and connection, which kept the energy up without feeling overwhelming.

A quiet highlight happened just before the reception. Rebecca and Jeremy shared a private cake cutting with Remy. It was a calm, meaningful pause before the night picked up.

This The Caboose wedding showed how thoughtful pacing shapes the guest experience.

Planning Perspective

As their planner, my role focused on protecting their presence. I managed timelines, vendor cues, and transitions so Rebecca and Jeremy could stay in the moment.

We also planned a few personal touches behind the scenes. Remy received a special baseball cap as a gift before heading out with the babysitter, giving him his own moment in the day.

They found me through a referral from Eliza at Boom and Bloom, underscoring the importance of trusted vendor relationships. Month of coordination gave them support in the final stretch while keeping the planning process calm and clear.
