What I’m passionate about

A brand inspired by legacy, shaped by hospitality, and rooted in love.

Margo Events carries the name of the women who taught me what it means to make people feel loved. My great-grandmother, my mother, and I all share the name Margo in different forms, a generational thread that shaped my earliest experiences of belonging. I grew up listening to my great-grandmother whistle in the kitchen while meals came together and us kids played in the courtyard. My mother carried that warmth forward, creating a home where every visit meant a beautifully set table, cloth napkins, and a sense that you were deeply welcomed. Those moments taught me the art of hosting, the power of details, and the beauty of creating spaces where people feel seen and cared for. Today, that legacy is at the heart of my work. I plan weddings with the same intention, hospitality, and tenderness I grew up with, ensuring that every couple feels held, supported, and able to be fully present on one of the most meaningful days of their lives.

Questions before booking?

Here are some
helpful resources

What’s the difference between Partial Planning, Month-Of Coordination, and Event Management?

Each service begins at a different point in your planning journey. Partial Planning starts 12 weeks before your wedding and offers collaborative guidance, refining design touches, organizing details, and creating a cohesive flow. Month-Of Coordination begins 8 weeks out and focuses on structured takeover, vendor alignment, and transforming your plans into a seamless, supported experience. Event Management begins 6 weeks before the wedding and provides focused logistical support, clear communication, and calm leadership leading into the day. Each option meets you exactly where you are and gives you the structure you need.

Do you help with design and décor decisions?

Yes. All packages include light design guidance to help refine your aesthetic, review décor choices, and ensure your wedding feels intentional and cohesive. This includes décor detailing, personal item mapping, layout creation, and guidance on bringing warmth and meaning into your space. For couples wanting full-scale or deeply creative design work, I can connect you with trusted designers who align with your vision.

What is month of coordination and is it right for us?

Month of coordination is designed for couples who have planned their wedding but want professional support to manage details, vendors, and timelines in the final weeks. It allows you to stay present while everything is handled with care and clarity.

How far in advance should we book?

Most couples reserve their date 8–14 months in advance, especially for peak seasons in NYC and the Hudson Valley. If your date is sooner, you’re still welcome to reach out—Month-Of Coordination and Event Management often have more flexible availability. No matter your timeline, I’m happy to check your date and talk through the best next steps.

Do you work outside of NYC and the Hudson Valley?

Yes! I primarily serve NYC and the Hudson Valley, but I’m available for travel throughout New York State and nearby regions. If your venue is outside this area, simply inquire. I’ll let you know availability, travel options, and whether your location is a good fit.
